ART WOMEN ART WEEK is a global gathering &  activation platform inviting women to host workshops, exhibitions, talks, performances, gatherings, and creative experiences during one collective week of visibility, collaboration, and connection.

 

ART WOMEN ART WEEK (AWAW)

AWAW is a world wide weaving - community-led creative movement and activation platform celebrating women across art, culture, wellness, music, business, design, and leadership.

Through a decentralised model, women across Sydney, Australia, and globally are invited to host workshops, exhibitions, talks, performances, gatherings, and creative experiences during one collective week of visibility and connection.

To be held, 1st-7thNovember,2026.

 

AWAW exists to:

  • Champion women’s voices and leadership
  • Increase visibility and opportunity for female creatives
  • Support cultural participation and collaboration
  • Create spaces for expression, wellness, and community
  • Foster sustainable pathways for women within the creative industries

Participants independently lead their own activations while receiving promotional support, branding assets, community connection, and inclusion within the wider AWAW cultural program.

More than an event, AWAW is a movement built by women, for women.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

  • Participation Fee $100 (20% being donated to charity supporting women empowerment)
  • Submit your event via our online form and pay Registration fee.
  • All submissions are reviewed to ensure alignment with AWAW values, safety, and programming vision.
  • Once approved receive your AWAW onboarding pack to host your event.
  • Approved events will be featured across the official AWAW website, social platforms, and program calendar.
  • Tag @artwomenartweek and collaborate across the AWAW community network.
