These skins are Sustainable and Ethically treated ;   They are sourced from a Sheep Skin Tannery out of New Zealand. And they have been producing Ethically treated Skins since 1969. In New Zealand, the air is pure, the water clear and the pastures lush. Sheep roam freely, raised with care and respect.

Delightfully tactile, our soft wool Sheepskins are a luxurious addition to any family. Great for softening your favourite furnishing or sprucing up a feature room. Sit on it, stand on it, snuggle into it and admire it. The uses for our Sheepskins are endless.
Easy to maintain, these beautiful hides can last a lifetime. Keep one for yourself or pass it on to a loved one as the Best. Gift. Ever.

We like to recommend these are used in your meditation space as they work with the  electromagnetic frequency of the body to anchor your energies in. And create powerful activation for mediation and ceremony work.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

These instructions will help keep your Classic product in new condition for years to come!

You may notice a “new leather” smell when receiving a new sheepskin or sheepskin product. This is not a harmful smell and will naturally disperse with time. The rug does not need to be washed, but can benefit from a good shake and an airing. We recommend airing your rug if required in an open space out of direct sunlight,  as wool does filter odours from the environment.

Classic sheepskin products are easy care and regular brushing, vacuuming and shaking helps restore the pile and keep them free from dust.
The leather side can be easily damage by incorrect washing, therefore the steps provided will help reduce the risk.

To clean, spot cleaning or hand cleaning is always best but our sheepskins are also machine washable. When hand cleaning use a small amount of water and wool-wash as per the details below. Lightly sponge over the wool side only focusing on rubbing through the wool and not the skin underneath. Start in the middle and sponge out to the edges. Brush to restore pile and dry slowly in the shade. Once dry give the sheepskin a good shake and another brushing with a pet brush.

If Machine Washing:

  • Only use a small amount of an approved Neutral or Mild Sheepskin Wash. If unavailable, then just use water.
  • Use a approved sheepskin wash. DO NOT USE ECO STORE WOOL WASH.
  • Only use cold water.
  • Avoid Direct Heat when drying, dry outside in the shade or inside away from heaters, radiators or fires. Using a clothes rack to lay the sheepskin flat is a good way to dry a skin.
  • Do not let the sheepskin dry out too fast, it is best to leave a small amount of moisture in the skin.
  • After the sheepskin is dry, brush with a pet brush to restore pile and finish with a solid shake.

Footwear:

  • Avoid getting moisture on footwear as this can stain. If footwear does need cleaning it is best spot cleaned, using a small amount of liquid and a cloth. Follow the rules above and treat like you would cleaning carpet.

SACRED PIECES

There's such a sweet harmony that happens when we bring ourselves back to our inner core and self. It's time to reconnect back to honoring our Energies, the Elementals and the Animals. Thisallows us to connect deeper within and to Gaia, Our Earth Mother and self.
